Okay, we admit it: we don’t get it. Posession? Evil reincarnation? Aliens in our brains? All we know from the extended trailer that BBC America just released it’s that it’s friggin’ SPOOKY, man. Science fiction, horror, and suspense all rolled up into one crazy eight-ball.
It also has a terrific cast, including Mira Sorvino, whom we’ve loved since Mimic and John Simm, who can do no wrong since he played the giddy 21st century version of The Master on Doctor Who, and James Frain, who’s done everything from Tron: Legacy to True Blood and Grimm. Just look at the guy, he was born spooky (and hot)! Check it out:
It premieres in the best position on TV that the geek marketplace can offer: the sweet spot on BBC America, right after Doctor Who re-begins on August 23. Many of the key players are also making an appearance for a premiere event at NerdHQ at the San Diego Comic Com, where perhaps a bit more will be revealed. For tickets to the event, try here.
