. but then all the other Paranormal Activity movies should have been awful, too. Come on: lame idea. More found footage/security cam stuff. A lot of bump-in-the-night, jump-out-the-closet crap.
But for some reason, the PA”s have been scary all the way along — visceral, authentic, slow as hell but GOD, do you remember them. And now the new one, Paranomal Acitivy: The Marked Ones has anew trailer that shouldn’t really scare you at all.
But it does.
The PA people are keeping with the found-footage motif, but goin’ all East L.A. on yo’ ass, and even if the trailer takes a little while to set up…oh, god. This is gonna be good. And once again, very different than anything we would have expected.
