Damned Selfie is a new short from Justin McConnell and Unstable Ground that offers a quietly bizarre vision of the afterlife that you don’t want to visit.
Writer/Director Justin McConnell has been making some very strange, truly disturbing shorts and features over the last few years (check out Unstable Ground for more). A few weeks ago he released Damned Selfie, a short whose names speaks volumes, even though you don’t realize it. The pacing’s a little odd, the audio quality is disappointing bad, but it’s more than interesting, and better than roughly 92.8% of the ‘horror’ shots that gush in here every week.
