R. Michael McWhorter, @TizzyEnt, knows how to make good, scary shorts. Here’s his newest…

“After a long day of moving,” it says here, “Megan prepares for her first night’s sleep in her new apartment; unaware this place houses a dark secret. Now all that stands between her and a living nightmare is a solitary beam of light.” As far as we’re concerned, proof positive of what we’ve always believe: flashlights are dark mechanisms sent by the void to torment and betray us. Ask anybody.

“Things That Go Bump” is part of the Rode Reel competition (and we’re fanst of Rode with the slash through the ‘o’ audio equipment; we use one of their shotguns for our videos, too!) … but it’s much more than that. Look, we look at a lot of horror shorts, every week, but finding one worth passing along is a sadly rare occurrence.  Especially one with a really good, well-set-up ending. So…enjoy!

Visit McWhorter’s Rode page and vote for this beauty, and if you’re a videogeek like some of us are (?), peek at the Behind-the-Scene video as well. And you can visit and subscribe to the Tizzy Entertainment YouTube channel here.
